This is an effortless way to add a shaped foot to your work, just use it instead of an undercut tool immediately after throwing a piece.

I initially made one for my own use as I couldn’t find anything quite like it for sale, but enough people asked if they could buy it that I’ve started making extras for sale. They are laser cut from 2mm stainless steel with an angled head to allow a vertical cutting surface without having to scrape your knuckles on the wheelhead. The thick stainless steel means they will make thousands of pots without wearing down, giving an identical foot on every piece in a matter of seconds.

It's double ended with an 8mm and a 12mm diameter cutter. I use the 8mm on all my smaller pieces and the 12mm on larger bowls.

The standard is for an anti-clockwise wheels but the design can be mirrored for clockwise wheels (just let me know in the order notes).
