If you’d like to change the design of the handle on a mug you’re ordering, there are a couple of options.

The first is the two finger handle design that was the result of this deep dive into handle function. This handle is too large for small mugs and small-medium cups, but suitable for all other sizes. If you want a similar design on smaller pieces, I can offer a one finger version instead (and if the handle option is ordered with a piece too small for the two finger version, I’ll assume this is what you’re looking for).

The second is a standard handle design, but scaled up, for those with larger hands or grip/mobility limitations and want a thicker handle and longer handle loop.

The third option is to add a second larger handle loop on the opposite side from the first, making it easier to hold and control with grip/mobility limitations.

Please note: These custom options will slow the creation of the pieces down, as they will be made specifically for you. If there are any issues in the making/glazing processes, it will mean starting again from scratch. I would aim to have them ready in 4 weeks, but it could be 8-12 if there are repeated issues.
