If you’d like to change the design of the handle on a mug you’re ordering, there are a couple of options.

The first is the two finger handle design that was the result of this deep dive into handle function. I don’t think it would be sensible to add it to a small mug, but I’m not going to stop you if you really want to!

The second is a standard handle design, but scaled up, for those with larger hands or grip/mobility limitations and want a thicker handle and longer handle loop.

The third option is to add a second larger handle loop on the opposite side from the first, making it easier to hold and control with grip/mobility limitations.

Please note: These custom options will slow the creation of the pieces down, as they will be made specifically for you. If there are any issues in the making/glazing processes, it will mean starting again from scratch. I would aim to have them ready in 4 weeks, but it could be 8-12 if there are repeated issues.
